Meet Your Bakers
Chef Richard Hanna, Professor of Culinary Arts at Mt. San Antonio College, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has degree in Culinary Management from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. He also has a Double MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Colorado Technical University and is currently pursuing a PhD. in Hospitality Management from Iowa State College.
Chef Hanna was previously an instructor at Le Cordon Bleu and has vast experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry, restaurant management and the culinary arts.
Gemma Stafford is a professionally-trained chef & baker. Originally from Ireland, Gemma's passion for baking drove her to train as a professional chef before studying with legendary chef Darina Allen at the world-renowned Ballymaloe cookery school in County Cork.
After moving to the US, Gemma gained more knowledge and drive to open her own catering business for top tech companies specializing in over-the-top breakfast creations.
Now with her husband Kevin, she is pursuing her lifelong dream of teaching people my trade and sharing my culinary adventures and Bold Baking secrets with other Bold Bakers everywhere. Gemma currently live with her dog Waffles in Santa Monica, CA.
Annika Corbin is the owner of I Like Pie Bake Shop in Claremont, CA and founder of the Claremont Pie Festival. She and her husband Rob opened I Like Pie in 2012 and organized the first Claremont Pie Festival in 2013 with support from the Claremont Village Marketing Group.
I Like Pie’s unconventional (and delicious) approach to pie has landed them on Thrillist’s list of The Best Pie Shops in America, Forbes’ list of 7 Essential American Pie Shops to Visit, and MSN’s list of The 40 Best Pie Shops in America.
