2020 Claremont Pie Festival Vendor Form
Event is Saturday, March 21, 2020, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Each vendor is allotted (1) 10’ x 10’ space.
Vendor must supply all equipment, tent, tables, chairs, fire extinguisher, gravity-fed hand-washing (food vendor).
Electricity is available upon request to a very limited number of spaces (additional fees apply).
Vendor placement is determined by type of merchandise. Location requests cannot be guaranteed.
This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be made for inclement weather.
Set-up: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM. Street closure will be strictly enforced. No vehicles in or out past 9:00 AM. Breakdown is 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. No early breakdown or departure permitted.
You must have a 1-A-10-BC Fire Extinguisher visible in your booth.
Schedule of events will be posted on the website in March 2020.
All requested information must be submitted for an application to be considered. We will not contact you to obtain missing information please submit an accurate and complete application.
APPLICATION - NOTE: WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING PIE VENDORS AND KID'S CRAFT VENDORS AT THIS TIME. ALL OTHER SPACES ARE FULL.
Fees will increase on November 2. Deadline for all applications is February 1, 2020.
Vendor Fees are not payable until a vendor has been accepted. You will be sent an invoice upon approval. This invoice must be paid within 72 hours or your space will be given to another vendor.
Claremont Business: $100 before November 1, $125 after.
Non-Claremont Business: $150 before November 1, $175 after.
Pre-Packaged Food Vendor - (fees include one-day Health Department permit)
No cooking of food or on-site preparation is permitted. Food must be prepackaged and labeled. Labeling shall include the common name of the product, an ingredients list by order of weight, a statement of quantity (e.g. net weight, volume or count) and the name of the producer. Sampling at your booth is permitted upon request and requires an additional $30 fee.
Claremont Pre-Packaged Food Vendor PIE ONLY: $125 before November 1, $150 after.
Claremont Pre-Packaged Food Vendor: $150 before November 1, $175 after.
Non-Claremont Pre-Packaged Food Vendor PIE ONLY: $175 before November 1, $200 after.
Non-Claremont Pre-Packaged Food Vendor (not pie): $200 before November 1, $225 after.
Non-Pre-Packaged Food Vendor or Food Truck - (fees include one-day Health Department permit)
On-site food preparation booths/food trucks are being accepted on a very limited basis due to space restrictions.
Claremont Non-Prepackaged Food Fee: $275 before November 1, $300 after.
Non-Claremont Non-Prepackaged Food Fee: $300 before November 1, $325 after.
Electrical access may be requested but is not guaranteed. Availability is on a first-come basis.
FOOD VENDOR PERMITS
With the exception of LA County Permitted Food Trucks. All Food Vendors must submit an application for a Temporary Food Facility (TFF) Permit WITH YOUR VENDOR APPLICATION. Your Food Vendor application cannot be considered with out a completed TFF request form. Download the Application using the link below.
If you are exempt from Health Department Fees, you must provide proof with your TFF application.
For non-profit exemption requests, contact the Division Community Event Coordinator directly at email@example.com to coordinate your fee waiver.
Approved TFF Permits will be emailed to you using the email address provided prior to the event.
This form must be fully and accurately completed. Our team cannot correct or add information. If you are rejected by the health department due to an incomplete or inaccurate TFF application, we cannot accept you as a vendor. THIS CAN WAIT UNTIL YOUR APPLICATION IS ACCEPTED IF YOU PREFER - we will request upon acceptance.
You are responsible for your own liability and workers' compensation insurance.
Proof of liability insurance naming Claremont Village Marketing Group, 112 Harvard Ave N #92, Claremont, CA 91711 as additionally insured for 03/21/20 must be submitted before your vendor application is officially accpeted. This is customary with street fairs and your insurance agent can help with the certificate.
